Remember when getting your music heard meant literally handing someone a tape? You'd record your demo on a cassette and pass it hand-to-hand — to the DJ after his set, to the label's mailbox, to the kids in the street. That's exactly what demo-tape is, just digital and a thousand times faster: a place where DJs, producers and artists drop their demos, edits and remixes, and where record labels, radioshows and listeners pick them up. Upload your track, get feedback, collect supports and connect with the people who can push your music further — the tape changed format, the ritual is the same.

Create a free account, then use the Upload button. Pick a type (Original/Demo, Bootleg/Remix, Mashup/Edit, Acapella) and a genre so people can find it. Your audio is processed automatically (normalization + waveform) and goes live in minutes.

The up arrow next to a track is a Vote Up / Support: one per user per track. Supports drive the Trending and Top100 Chart rankings and power the "Similar tracks" suggestions. The down arrow is a dislike — also one per user, and mutually exclusive.

Trending balances what you like: it prioritizes the genres you prefer (choose them here) and the like/dislike balance tracks received recently. The Top100 Chart ranks the most played tracks per type, with daily position changes (▲/▼).

Open the artist's profile and hit Send a demo/promo: you can attach an audio file directly in the message. Only you and the recipient can access it.

Part of the historical catalogue is still being restored. Those tracks keep their stats and comments, and their audio comes back as the restore progresses.
