Cookie Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026 · This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by demo-tape.net. It complements our Privacy Policy.
We keep this to a minimum. demo-tape uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service, plus a couple of preference cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, cross-site trackers, Flash cookies or profiling of any kind.
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off from within the service. They do not track you across other sites.
- Session cookie (
demo-tape-session) — keeps you signed in and preserves your session between page loads. It is HTTP-only and expires when your session ends. XSRF-TOKEN— protects forms and actions against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).- "Keep me signed in" (
remember_web_*) — set only if you tick that box at sign-in, so you stay logged in on your device. - Cloudflare / Turnstile (e.g.
__cf_bm,cf_clearance) — set by Cloudflare, our CDN and security provider, for bot mitigation and, on the sign-in and registration forms, for the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot check. These appear only when the anti-bot protection is enabled.
dt_view— remembers whether you chose the mobile or desktop layout, so we don't have to guess on every visit (kept up to one year).force_desktop— set when you explicitly ask to stay on the desktop layout from a mobile device.
The audio player uses your browser's local storage to remember your playback volume and your "Recently played" history. This information stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Because the cookies above are strictly necessary or purely functional, blocking them may break sign-in, security or your layout preference. As we do not use marketing or analytics cookies, no consent banner is required for the cookies listed here; if that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
